AGM – Followed by Cheese, Wine & Pate evening
46 members enjoyed the social evening of cheese, wine ,quizzing and gardening gossip which followed the AGM.
The business of the evening was quickly dispensed with as Nicky gave her report , the Treasurer presented the accounts and Officers/Committee were elected .
MUWAGA is looking for a person to take over the running of the website as the current incumbent is stepping down .

Subject: “Primrose Cottage, Steeple Aston”
Richard described his 20 year project to develop his garden at Primrose Cottage Steeple Aston.
This is an attractive garden with a very interesting history including a lovely ancient walled garden.

Kate Burtonwood: Head Gardener
Subject – “Plantings and Design at Trinity College Oxford”
Kate abandoned her Civil Service career in her mid 30s to follow her passion for gardening and the outdoors. Amongst much else in her career development, Kate worked as a volunteer in gardens near the Inns of Court in London, whilst studying for RHS Diploma as part of a training pathway which included work at the Oxford Botanical Gardens.

Stephen Wass
Subject – “Stowe Landscape Gardens through the Ages and the Present Day”
Stephen Wass, operating as ‘Polyolbion Archaeology’ has an M.A. in Historical Archaeology from the University of Leicester. Among many projects over time, Stephen has carried out work for The National Trust at Stowe Landscape Gardens as part of the huge NT restoration project of the parkland and its buildings

Nathalie Mignotte
Subject – “Gardens of the Alhambra & Generalife, Granada”
Natalie is a former lecturer and Academic Manager of the Horticultural Department at Hartpury College. In her talk on the gardens of these famous Granada landmarks, she outlined the relationships and influence of history, geology, climate and faith on their creation.
